Inside Sales Account Executive, Sales (Boston)

Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities, qualify prospects, and work through the stages of the sales cycle to close new account business.
  • Present Collective's value proposition clearly and persuasively primarily using the telephone and email
  • Build strong relationships with publishers, ad networks, and other customers to ensure long-term success
  • Manage new and existing client campaigns to successfully meet and exceed client performance expectations. Share expertise and advise clients on new campaign ideas to generate continued results.
  • Work with internal account management and ad operations to ensure client satisfaction
  • Participate in industry events and conferences
  • Track and manage sales pipeline and account activities in salesforce.com

 

 

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of online advertising industry from ad sales and buyer perspectives
  • Previous experience within Inside Sales Div. for online advertising networks and/or portals a plus
  • Direct and agency contacts at both senior and junior levels a plus
  • Intelligent, outgoing individual with strong interpersonal skills and work ethic
  • Active in industry trade and networking events
  • Prospect tirelessly close business often
  • Excellent business writing, training, communication, organizational and presentation skills
  • Superior ability to communicate and close business via telephone, email and face-to-face
  • Ability to work independently, while being open to direction and guidance
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com a plus
  • Comprehensive experience with MS Office a must
  • Good analytical skills in both understanding marketer objectives and analyzing campaign performance
